· Flexible and customizable. Your proposal will detail expectations, but may be updated by mutual agreement.

· Book coaches work interactively with authors, providing feedback during the drafting and/or revision process.

· Work will be compensated by the hour and billed incrementally, as agreed before work commences.

· Complete reading and assessment of the elements of your manuscript.

· Thorough editorial letter detailing strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for development/revision.

· Proposal and project cost provided to you prior to work commencing.

· Optional consultation at an hourly rate.

· Two full readings of the manuscript.

· Complete edit for content, focus, organization, language, consistency, flow, and conformance to Chicago Manual of Style standards.

· Author responds to clarifying questions and approves revisions and/or requests changes using standardized processes.

· Editor integrates author review, performs cleanup edit, and marks for layout if applicable.

· Proposal and project cost provided to you prior to work commencing.

· Interaction is typically limited to the editor’s need for clarification.
